A member of our team recently completed a fundraisng challenge with Turning Tides
Last month, one of our team completed the Sussex Three Peaks, a 15-mile trek over Steep Down, Cissbury Ring, and Chanctonbury Ring. While the physical challenge was significant, it was also an opportunity to reflect on our seven-years supplying Turning Tides.
At UK Drug Testing, we believe that the right tools can change lives. As a company founded and run by doctors, we understand that homelessness is often driven by complex root causes, including substance use, deep trauma, and mental health challenges. This is why Turning Tides' Recovery Project is so critical, it focuses on providing the specialised support needed to help individuals find a pathway out of homelessness.
For nearly a decade, our professional-grade testing kits, which offer 95% to 99% accuracy, have been used within these projects to provide the reliable data clinical teams need to support their clients effectively. We don’t just supply products; we supply the diagnostics that help individuals rebuild their lives with hope and dignity.
While we walked 15 miles for adventure, many people experiencing homelessness walk up to 11 miles every single day just to find basic survival essentials like food or a safe place to rest. We are proud to stand with Turning Tides to ensure this reality is never normalised.
