Our charity of the year for 2018 is The East Coast Hospice Appeal

Supporting East Coast Hospice Appeal – Join us in making a difference

This year, we are proud to support and help raise vital funds for a much-needed local Norfolk charity – the East Coast Hospice Appeal. Based in Gorleston, East Coast Hospice is working tirelessly to raise the funds required to build a specialist palliative care hospice to serve the communities of Great Yarmouth and Waveney.

The charity’s vision is to create Margaret Chadd House, a purpose-built hospice that will offer free care for people with life-limiting illnesses, along with support for their families. Their aim is to provide high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care in a peaceful and dignified setting – something that is currently lacking in the local area.

The hospice will offer inpatient beds, day care facilities, bereavement support, and outreach services – all free of charge to those who need them most. Plans for the hospice are well underway, and the charity is continuing its fundraising efforts with the goal of beginning construction as soon as possible.

We are also helping to raise awareness of this important local cause and would love to see more Norfolk businesses and individuals getting involved, whether through donations, fundraising events, volunteering, or simply spreading the word.

If you would like to support East Coast Hospice – whether as a one-off gesture or a longer-term commitment – please do get in touch with us, or contact the charity directly. Every little bit helps, and together we can bring this much-needed facility to our community.

Let’s build this hospice – together.
